Arizona Turf Company is a marketing website operated by Wilder West Assets, LLC. We are not a contractor. We do not install artificial turf and we do not hold an Arizona Registrar of Contractors license. Installation work is performed by independent, licensed Arizona contractors.

Here’s the part most sites like this one don’t say plainly: we are compensated by the contractors we work with. Not by you. A contractor pays us to receive requests through this site. Our job is to find you the best contractor we can that will do a great job for you so people keep coming to our site and recommending it. If we don’t do that we cannot make this a sustainable business. That’s the whole business model, and it’s worth understanding before you submit your information — because it explains everything else on this page.

How a request becomes a quote

1. You call the number on this site or submit a quote form.
2. Your details go to one contractor serving your area — not a batch of them.
3. They contact you directly, normally within a business day.
4. You contract with them, not with us. We are not a party to your agreement, we don’t handle payment, and we don’t set the price.

How we get paid

Contractors pay a flat monthly fee to receive requests from this site. We are not paid per lead and we are not paid a commission on your job, so we have no financial incentive to inflate the size of your project, push you toward a bigger yard than you asked about, or steer you toward add-ons. The fee doesn’t change whether your quote comes back at $2,000 or $20,000. We think that incentive alignment is genuinely worth knowing about, so we’re stating it plainly rather than letting you wonder.

We send your request to one contractor

This is the single most valuable sentence on this site: we route your request to one contractor, not several.

Most turf lead-generation sites do the opposite — they sell the same lead to three or four companies at once, because that’s how they maximize revenue per form submission. You’ve probably experienced the result even if you didn’t know the cause: a form goes out and your phone doesn’t stop ringing for a week, with contractors you didn’t choose and can’t tell apart, all working off the same information.

That’s structurally impossible here. Each service area gets exactly one contractor per service line — never more. Your request goes to them and only them. If that sounds like a small thing, it isn’t — it’s the difference between one phone call and a week of cold calls.

How the contractor is selected

Before any contractor receives requests from this site, we check: for installers, an active Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) license; for every contractor, current insurance, whether they actually answer the phone, and whether they have the capacity to schedule new work without a months-long backlog. (Turf cleaning is not ROC-regulated work, so cleaning companies are not checked for a contractor license they aren’t required to hold.) We keep it to one contractor per service line per metro area, on purpose — that’s what makes the “one contractor” promise above real rather than a marketing line.

What this isn’t: we don’t assess a contractor’s workmanship on your specific project, we don’t grade their craftsmanship, and being featured here isn’t a technical endorsement of any particular job. It’s a check that the basics — license, insurance, responsiveness, capacity — are in place.

Verify before you hire

Don’t take our word for the license. Look the contractor up yourself on the Arizona Registrar of Contractors website before you sign anything or pay a deposit. It takes a minute, it’s free, and it’s the single best protection you have as a homeowner. We’d rather you check than trust us.

What we do with your information

When you submit a request, your name, contact information, and project details go to the one contractor assigned to your area so they can quote your work. We don’t sell your information to a marketing list or to other contractors.

We don’t record phone conversations. If a call isn’t answered and you leave a voicemail, that message is recorded — that’s what a voicemail is — and it’s kept only long enough to get it to the right contractor.
